A Harmonious Blend of Originals and Covers

The album is a delightful mix of ten original tracks and seven covers. It kicks off with “She Wants to Dance”, a track that echoes the style of The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and moves through a variety of blues styles. “JD Boogie” and “I’ll Be Your Doctor” highlight Danielsen’s smooth vocals and skilful guitar play, featuring Jorge Costales on harmonica and Anita Fabiani on organ.

Intriguing Collaborations and Classic Covers

“Foolin’ Around” shines with collaborations, such as with Federico on “True Love” and Chino Swingslide on “Watchin’ The Sun Rise”. The album also pays homage to blues legends with covers like Willie Dixon’s “29 Ways” and ZZ Top’s “Mexican Blackbird”.
