Rest In Peace Richard Chalk

Mr. Richard Franklin Chalk, 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. He founded and ran Topcat Records in Dallas and was a good friend of Wolf Records. Richard helped a lot of musicians with his label and loved playing blues guitar himself. He put out a lot of fantastic music that had otherwise languished forgotten in shoe boxes. He also produced 5 CD´s for Wolf Records (UP Wilson Live Texas Blues Party; Robert Ealey, Curly Miller Texas Blues Party Vol. 2;Katie Webster-I m Bad-Louisiana Swamp Blues Vol. 7; Cookie McGee-One Way Ticket; Louisiana Red – The Sky is Crying)
