Koko Taylor and Mary Lane!!
Koko Taylor presented the Chicago Blues worldwide and Mary Lane sings the Blues since the 50’s until today in every club in the Chicago area. Now Wolf Rec. licensed in the one of the her best CD’s from Mr. Kirk Whiting:
The title was “Appointment with the blues”, now the new Title is:
LEAVE ME ALONE (120843-CD). There are 8 songs written by herself and 1 Song by her ex- husband Morris Pejoe (‘Hurt my feelings’), also on Wolf CD 120298. It was recorded in 1994 at Twist Turners “House of Sound”.
Mary Lane was born in Arkansas and played the WESTSIDE BLUES since 40 Years. –
The side men are the best you could get in the West- Side of Chicago: Johnny B. Moore on guitar, Detroit Jr. on piano, Cleo Williams on drums a.m.o.
