7) Snooky Pryor – All My Money Gone

Snooky Pryor created the amplified down home sound of post-war Chicago Blues. His singin´ and harp playing was influenced by John Lee Williamson (Sonny Boy I.) He recorded in the 50´s on the Labels J.O.B., Parrot & Vee Jay Records. In the 70´s and 80´s he toured again frequently and also recorded great CD´s (mostly on Electo-Fi Records and Blind Pig). In the 70´s he recorded the Wolf-CD “Sad and Lonesome” with Homesick James and also toured Austria. This CD is a mix of unreleased live and studio recordings!!!
Special guest is Homesick James, who is also singing two songs!! This CD is Blues history !

There were many small record labels in the 50´s until the 70´s. One of these was ABCO, which was founded by Eli Toscano, later with Cobra “O” and Ted Daniels! It starts with Morris Pejoe, husband of singer Mary Lane! When you listen to Louis Myers & the Aces, Arbee Stidham and many others here you´ll find out, that not only Chess & Vee Jay produced great Blues music!

10) Cub Koda-Live at Blues 1982

Cub Koda was a writer and a Blues musician who liked the sound of Hound Dog & The Houserockers (Ted Harvey and Brewer Philips). So, one day in 1982, he brought them to the famous Blues Club B.L.U.E.S, where they celebrated their house rockin´sound!
